In the midst of a local financial recession, the project involved designing, printing and shop-dropping postcards in tourist stores in Old San Juan; others were casually disseminated or mailed abroad from the island. This work aimed to upend the usual tourist postcard, which promotes the island as a paradise to be consumed. |
