Re-Singings
operatina in five movements for voices, flute choir, orchestra, fixed and reactive electronics, and variable and fixed video; music composition by Ashlee T Busch and animated video by Nayda Collazo-Llorens. 2021 This multimedia collaboration took place during 2020-21, at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. The live stage performance with dozens of musicians and singers and multiple video screens had to be canceled and instead, it premiered as a listening event with a single-channel video that was livestreamed on YouTube on on May 1, 2021. >>> LINK The text-based video Sightings, which I produced in 2016, served as a point of departure for this project. |
